“I have gone from my instructor yelling "Bigger canter/trot" to "Keep that canter" or "That's the trot we are after" or "Wow, that horse has an extended trot!". Six weeks ago I would fall in a heap from working so hard to get a correct gait, whereas now we can! I haven't done any additional fitness work during our sessions, so all changes are purely from the exercises prescribed. The biggest difference I found was in my everyday movement. I found my pelvis is more stable and I am activation glute muscles in my right buttock, which is new! My posture has also changed to become more upright with less bottom-sticky-outiness!
I have worked at the gym dooing squats and with physio's doing rehab to fix my SIJ problem and I have NEVER had the positive results, let alone in such a short period that I have achieved with Kylie. The thing that was most surprising was that the exercises were easy and not gut-busting with weights. I don't have the time or energy with my life to have a whole big regime to complete, but I could sneak in a set at the supermarket, on the toilet!, in the shower, watching t.v, cooking dinner.....
The way things were explained was so simple but brilliant to understand. Thank you so much for the opportunity. It really has been fantastic. I will continue to sneak in the exercises throughout the day and would love to follow up in the future”.
“Love my weekly Pilates sessions with Kylie....my core strength has improved greatly and it has helped so much with my riding!”
“When I began the bioanalysis sessions, I had various issues with tightness in my hips, lower back and shoulders. I was so used to being in this position, it felt "normal" to me. Through the practice of the various exercises prescribed, I have noticed considerable improvements, both in the saddle and out. I am much more open through my chest, and the increased mobility in my pelvis has allowed me to develop a deeper, looser seat in the saddle, with an improved sense of balance. I am also guilty of shallow breathing while I ride, so the brathing techniques have also helped a lot with the relaxation of my dody and in turn, that of my horse. My general awareness of my body has improved and overall I am feeling much more free and open in my whole posture.”
